Link Event - "If I were God … I'd
prove it!"
This was an excellent event organised on the Friday by the mission team. We
started with "It's a knockout" type games, which got people involved! - there
were many new faces from other churches who'd seen us at Latimer School during
the week. This was followed by a short talk and multi-media back-up which really
drew people into the clear gospel message that was proclaimed.
After the meeting one of the team spent a good 45 minutes chatting with some lads who'd been loitering but were too 'cool' to come in - in that setting they stopped being confrontational and were really seeking answers to life's big questions.
Do pray for Link to expand with all these new faces! - especially these lads. It's a brave move to come to a church youth group for the first time - and that our regular members would continue to be encouraged.
