Events at Latimer School.
This was an exciting week with lunchtime sessions each day (Monday to Friday)
at the school. The mission team covered subjects such as, "If I were God I'd
speak clearly", and "If I were God I'd end suffering". Attendance by a small
group of students (10 - 15) was fairly regular, although with some floating
in just for half a session.
The response was encouraging. Some students who are already involved in various local churches were keen to see further lunchtime meetings in the future, as were a bunch of year 8 girls who had never heard about Jesus before. There wa a general inquisitiveness about the gospel.
Please pray for the wisdom to decide where to go next with this work, especially that we will be able to work alongside the few Christian teachers in this.
