Dancing to the "Book of Kells"
How did they remember all those staps in so short a time, 14 dances learnt in
the space of three months by a troupe of young ladies aged between nine and
twenty-two, many of whom had had very little experience of dancing?
This really was a delightful evening. The music played was the beautifully haunting 'Book of Kells' by Iona, and the choreography by Janine Simper interpreted it so well. The Masque Centre with its excellent sound system and lighting proved to be an ideal venue and the dancers in their delightfully flowing dresses utilised the theatre setting to full effect. During the interval Jennifer Stunt spoke to us about her work as a Radio One DJ and of the importance Jesus has had on her life.
This was an evening of considerable achievement by many of our younger Church members, under Janine's guidance. We thank them and the House group that supported them for a very special event.
